Welcome, Museum Niederösterreich!
This wonderful museum already has a lot to be proud of concerning its commitments to sustainability, and they have no interest in stopping now.
The museum announced its support for the global Fridays For Future and Museums For Future movements in the November of 2019, and despite everything going on in the world this past year has opened a very special exhibition in the summer of 2020, entitled “Climate & Me.”
The exhibition will be on show until August 2021 in the museum’s House of Nature. For all those who will be able to visit the museum once cultural institutions re-open in Austria, making a trip to this well-founded, interactive exhibition will be well worth it!
In its mission statement, the Museum of Lower Austria has dedicated itself entirely to sustainability, and it has just become the second museum in the whole of Austria and the first in Lower Austria to be awarded the Austrian Ecolabel!
