Join or create a social media campaign!
Online actions are not only a great solution during the lockdowns of Covid-19, but can be the perfect tool to get your message of sustainability out into the world. Here are a few ideas on what your museum organisation can do online to support Fridays For Future and the environment.
Join a Museums For Future social media action!
As part of your participation in local and global Climate Strikes and other sustainability events, you can join a Museums For Future social media action. Together our voice carries further and by showing our support we can catalyse others to join as well. Our online campaigns focus on museum collections and the stories of sustainability they can tell.

Put an object/artwork On Strike!
The visual and impactful #ArtStrike comes from The UK Student Climate Network and has been adapted by a number of museums worldwide since its launch in 2019. The initiative is perfect not only for on-site action but for your social media feed as well. Choose your object/artwork and let the strike begin!

This open-access toolkit has everything you need to join the strike.
